Imagine a whirlwind of speed, agility, and a hefty dose of attitude, as players sport fierce gear and embody vibrant derby names. It's a side of me that often surprises people—this kind and caring individual also dishes out weekly beatings on the roller derby track. Meet Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, my derby alter ego, a playful nod to my love for cats and the classic movie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. As I proudly embrace my sprinkle of crazy cat lady, my three feline companions steal the spotlight: Koda, my all-black 5 year old; Ember, my all-grey 3 year old; and my newest edition Cleo, my all-white 3 month old. Each cat, embodying a color on the neutral scale, reflects my dedication to injecting creativity into every aspect of my life.
